The LaSalle Area Historical Society helps to maintain and care for an old prairie cemetery located in Beebe Draw. We help with the annual Memorial Day services in May and we host the annual Wreathes Across America ceremony in December.

This area is where my maternal grandparents came to in Dec. 1909 from Odessa, Russia to Liverpool, England. The family landed in Philadelphia,PA and onward to LaSalle, Weld county, Colorado. I was born on a farm in LaSalle as my grandparents were farmers in the area.Many of my maternal relatives were residents of the area. The Beebe Draw cemetery is home to my relatives. My mother attended school at the Big Bend Elementary. I have more info for later.
